The key challenges were to ensure the highest level of infection control, optimize workflow efficiency, and provide an environment conducive to both patient care and medical research.

Balancing Research with Rigorous Aseptic Conditions

In collaboration with Wuhan University the People’s Hospital, we embarked on a transformative project to build a series of modern ORs and ICUs based on Class 10000 standards. Leveraging our expertise in manufacturing Modular Operating Theatres, Modular Cleanrooms, and air purification equipment, we meticulously designed and installed every component to meet the hospital’s specific needs and address their unique challenges.

This unique environment presents a distinct challenge: maintaining a sterile operating room (OR) and ICU environment suitable for complex procedures, while also fostering collaboration and the free flow of ideas.

  • Modular Construction: Our prefabricated OR and ICU units ensured a faster installation time with minimal disruption to the hospital’s daily operations. This minimized risks associated with dust and airborne contaminants during construction, while also allowing the hospital to quickly leverage the new facilities.
  • Transparency for Collaboration: Glass Wall Panels
    Wuhan University People’s Hospital’s focus on medical research extends beyond traditional research labs. By incorporating glass wall panels in specific ICU rooms, we fostered a sense of openness and collaboration, allowing researchers to observe procedures while minimizing the risk of contamination. This promotes knowledge sharing and facilitates a unique environment for medical advancements.
  • Advanced Control Systems: Maintaining Optimal Conditions
    PLC intelligence control panels were installed within each OR and ICU unit. These digital dashboards provide real-time monitoring and control over crucial environmental factors like temperature, humidity, and air pressure. This automation ensures a precisely controlled environment, ideal for research and patient well-being.
